EURAZEO LAUNCHES THE EURAZEO PHOTO PRIZE 2026, A PHOTOGRAPHY GRANT

02 June 2026

Open call: applications open from June 2 to September 13, 2026

Seeking to strengthen its philanthropic commitment and anchor it within the core mission of its Endowment Fund, Eurazeo is launching the Eurazeo Photo Prize grant, with funding of €20,000. This new grant, whose terms are set out below, builds on the Eurazeo Photo Prize established in 2010.

Open to professional photographers of all nationalities, based in France or abroad, the Eurazeo Photo Prize invites applicants to submit a project for development. Each year, one laureate will receive support to deliver an ambitious long-term project and enhance its visibility, through dedicated artistic and strategic guidance, as well as connections with galleries, festivals, media and leading industry professionals.

Eurazeo has long maintained a close and enduring relationship with photography, actively supporting artists for many years. While its art collection has existed for over two decades, photography became a central focus in 2010 with the creation of an annual prize recognising an artist’s work.

From 2010 to 2025, a jury of photography professionals selected an annual laureate for a series developed around a predefined theme, awarding each winner a  cash prize. The 15th edition, won by Aglaé Bory, marked the conclusion of a chapter in the Group’s commitment to photography.

William Kadouch-Chassaing, Co-CEO and jury member, declared:

“For over twenty years, Eurazeo has maintained a close connection with photography, building a rich and vibrant collection that now includes more than a hundred pieces. This commitment was strengthened in 2010 with the creation of a dedicated award to support and showcase photographers. With the Eurazeo Photo Prize grant, we are now taking this engagement a step further, by supporting creation earlier in the process, at the very moment when projects emerge and take shape.”

Jean-François Camp, Chair of the jury, declared:

“As we mark the bicentenary of the invention of photography in 2026, it is more important than ever to support artists who, through their images, offer us space for reflection, perspective, and a deeper understanding of the world. I am delighted to see this journey continue in a renewed and more committed form.”
